- Increased clouds in the central and southern valley could
  produce virga or a sprinkle near the southern TN border, but
  chances are slim.
- Fall-like, cool temperatures and dry weather expected through
  this weekend into next week. A slight warming trend next week.

Currently a cooler day today with temperatures a few degrees lower
than what we experienced yesterday. As a weak shortwave moves
through the region it`s helping to increase clouds across the
central and southern Valley down into GA and the Carolinas. There is
an outside chance that these clouds could try and spit out a
sprinkle or light shower...However with the low levels of the
atmosphere being dry and dew point depression values around 20
degrees, virga looks more likely than anything if precipitation does
try to occur this afternoon near the southern TN border.
Moving forward the dry air will remain in place and we`ll head into
a typical fall-like pattern with daytime highs within a few degrees
of seasonal normals, mostly sunny skies, and light winds. We`ll see
a very gradual warming trend next week, but it will be hard to
notice the day-to-day differences with the drier air allowing
temperatures to drop into the lower 50`s to upper 40`s most nights.
Still not seeing any indications of significant or anomalous weather
this week or next week. Enjoy!
