Sterling is a home rule municipality and the county seat and most populous municipality of Logan County, Colorado, United States. The city population was 13,735 at the 2020 census. Sterling is the largest city in the Eastern Plains region of Colorado and the site of the domed Logan County Courthouse, built in 1909.
