1973 - Fifteen to 20 inch rains deluged north central Oklahoma in thirteen hours producing record flooding. Enid was drenched with 15.68 inches of rain from the nearly stationary thunderstorms, which established a state 24 hour rainfall record. Dover OK reported 125 of 150 homes damaged by flooding.

About Riverdale, Iowa

Riverdale is a city in Scott County, Iowa, United States. The population was 379 at the time of the 2020 census.

The city is surrounded on three sides by the city of Bettendorf, and on the fourth by the Mississippi River. Riverdale is part of the Quad Cities metropolitan area.

Arconic has an aluminum rolling mill in Riverdale that employs approximately 2,000 people.
