.DISCUSSION... Issued at 1042 PM CDT Sun Sep 14 2025
Persistent coastal troughing, an influx of moisture, and a series of upper level shortwaves will present daily rain chances through the period. PWAT values look to remain between 1.5 and 2 inches through most of the week, which could support brief periods of heavy rain and some ponding of water. The combination of forcing from passing upper level shortwaves and the afternoon sea breeze looks to increase the chance for isolated to scattered convection to around 40-60% each afternoon.
High temperatures look to remain in the 90s through the period, with low temperatures in the low to mid 70s.
