Plenty of dry air aloft streaming across the region
this afternoon in the wake of yesterday`s frontal passage will keep
skies clear through the weekend. Surface high pressure extending
from the midwest across the central gulf coast will maintain light
northerly winds.

The dry pattern will continue through the upcoming week
as upper level ridging and drier air aloft continue to be reinforced
by the northerly flow on the western side of tropical disturbance
94L (or whatever it becomes by early next week). Dewpoints will
remain reasonably comfortable dropping into the low to mid 60s each
afternoon as drier air mixes down to the surface. Afternoon highs
will reach 90 each afternoon, but the drier air should allow
overnight lows to fall into the mid 60s each night through next
weekend.
