1927 - An outbreak of tornadoes from Oklahoma to Indiana caused 81 deaths and 25 million dollars damage. A tornadocut an eight-mile long path across Saint Louis MO, to Granite City IL, killing 79 persons. The damage path at times was a mile and a quarter in width. The storm followed a similar path to tornadoes which struck in 1871, 1896, and 1959.

About Kevin, Montana

Kevin is a town in Toole County, Montana, United States. The population was 154 at the 2020 census, equal to the 2010 Census population. The town was named after Thomas Kevin, superintendent of the Alberta Railway & Irrigation Company. Locals pronounce Kevin with a long E, like Keevin.

Oil was discovered in the Kevin Sunburst Oil Field in 1922.
