.SYNOPSIS...
Tropical Storm Imelda will move northeast away from the
Southeast U.S. coast tonight through Wednesday. Cooler high
pressure will then build in from the northwest.

.NEAR TERM /THROUGH TUESDAY/...
Tonight: A swath of light rain will continue across the northern
fringes of Charleston and Berkeley County this evening as an inland
high pressure wedge holds, but precip activity will likely struggle
to make any progress westward with time due to substantial dry air
(noted on water vapor imagery) nudging into the local area from the
west. Expect the bulk of precip activity to diminish late evening as
Tropical Storm Imelda tracks northeast across the Atlantic, and well
away from the region. Rainfall will generally average
