About Bangor, MI

Bangor is a city in Van Buren County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 1,885 at the 2010 census. The city is located in the northeast corner of Bangor Township, but is politically independent. It was first organized as a town in 1854 and named after Bangor, Maine.
