.NOW...REGIONAL WEATHER DISCUSSION... SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE ACROSS MUCH OF OKLAHOMA AND NORTH TEXAS THIS AFTERNOON. AT 215 PM... THE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOST WIDESPREAD ACROSS WESTERN NORTH TEXAS... BUT ALSO EXTENDED INTO SOUTHERN... CENTRAL AND NORTH CENTRAL OKLAHOMA. IN OKLAHOMA... THE PRECIPITATION WAS MAINLY SOUTH AND EAST OF A LINE FROM MEDFORD TO KINGFISHER TO CHEYENNE. THE STORMS IN SOUTHERN OKLAHOMA AND NORTH TEXAS WERE MOVING SLOWLY WEST OR NORTHWEST... WHILE THE STORMS IN NORTH CENTRAL OKLAHOMA WERE MOVING SLOWLY EAST. SHOWERS AND STORMS IN CENTRAL AND WEST CENTRAL OKLAHOMA WERE NEARLY STATIONARY. WITH THE SLOW MOVEMENT OF THESE STORMS...HEAVY RAIN MAY PERSIST IN AREAS THAT RECEIVE RAINFALL WHICH COULD TO SIGNIFICANT RAINFALL ACCUMULATION.
