AREAL COVERAGE AND INTENSITY OF SHOWERS AND STORMS IS EXPECTED TO INCREASE THROUGH MID AFTERNOON...AND A FEW STORMS MAY PRODUCE PEA TO DIME SIZE HAIL...BRIEF HEAVY DOWNPOURS AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING. STORMS ARE EXPECTED TO MOVE EAST BY MID TO LATE AFTERNOON...AFFECTING THE HIGHWAY 53 CORRIDOR FROM INTERNATIONAL FALLS TO DULUTH AND THE IRON RANGE CITIES.
