.NOW...THROUGH 3 PM...ISOLATED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP ACROSS SOUTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHWESTERN LOUISIANA...WHILE SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS SOUTHEAST TEXAS. THIS ACTIVITY IS LOCATED GENERALLY SOUTHWEST OF A LINE FROM THE LAKES AREA OF SOUTHEAST TEXAS TO OAKDALE TO OPELOUSAS. THE STRONGEST STORMS WILL OCCUR NEAR TOWN BLUFF AND SPURGER AND ALSO NEAR KINDER WITH THE POTENTIAL FOR FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING...BRIEF GUSTY WINDS AND HEAVY RAINS WITH RATES OF UP TO 2 INCHES AN HOUR. MOVEMENT IS SOUTHWEST AT 10 MPH. ELSEWHERE...SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ALONG THE COAST WILL MOVE SOUTHWEST TO AROUND 10 OFFSHORE BETWEEN SABINE PASS AND THE LOWER ATCHAFALAYA RIVER.
