.NOW...A LARGE AREA OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TREKKING EAST ACROSS WEST KENTUCKY OVER THE NEXT HOUR OR TWO. AT 1015 AM...MOST OF THE MODERATE TO HEAVY RAINFALL HAD JUST MOVED EAST OF PADUCAH...AND WAS AFFECTING AREAS TO THE EAST OF THERE. THIS LARGE BAND OF PRECIPITATION WILL BRING SOME VERY HEAVY DOWNPOURS AT TIMES...WHICH WILL RAPIDLY REDUCE VISIBILITIES. THE RAINFALL WILL LAST ABOUT AN HOUR AND A HALF BEFORE TAPERING OFF TO SCATTERED SHOWERS.
