NOW...AT 2 AM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADARS DETECTED NUMEROUS LIGHT TO MODERATE SHOWERS EAST OF A LINE FROM BENTONVILLE ARKANSAS TO FORT SMITH ARKANSAS. SCATTERED LIGHT RAIN WAS OCCURRING FURTHER WEST ACROSS PORTIONS OF EASTERN OKLAHOMA...PRIMARILY FOR LOCATIONS BETWEEN TULSA AND FAYETTEVILLE. MOVEMENT OF THE SHOWERS WAS NORTHWEST AT 10 MPH. THROUGH 4 AM...WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED ACROSS FAR NORTHWEST AND WEST CENTRAL ARKANSAS. PERIODS OF HEAVY RAIN ACROSS THIS AREA COULD ALLOW FOR LOCALIZED RAINFALL AMOUNTS APPROACHING ONE INCH. SCATTERED SHOWERS ARE EXPECTED FURTHER WEST AND SOUTH ACROSS PORTIONS OF EASTERN OKLAHOMA. ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS ACROSS THIS AREA COULD LOCALLY APPROACH ONE HALF INCH THE NEXT FEW HOURS.
