AT 1045 PM...MOST OF THE ACTIVITY WAS LOCATED SOUTHEAST OF AN ERICK TO ALVA LINE AND NORTHWEST OF AN ARDMORE TO SHAWNEE LINE. RAINFALL RATES OF AROUND ONE HALF INCH PER HOUR CAN BE EXPECTED FROM WESTERN NORTH TEXAS INTO SOUTHWEST OKLAHOMA...INCLUDING THE WICHITA FALLS AREA. ELSEWHERE RAINFALL RATES AROUND ONE QUARTER INCH OR LESS PER HOUR CAN BE EXPECTED. THE SHOWERS ARE ASSOCIATED WITH A SLOW-MOVING UPPER LEVEL STORM SYSTEM LOCATED OVER THE SOUTHWEST UNITED STATES AND A COLD FRONT MOVING THROUGH THE SOUTHERN PLAINS. AT 1045 PM...THE FRONT EXTENDED FROM NEAR SEMINOLE... TO PAULS VALLEY... TO ARCHER CITY TEXAS. THE FRONT WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE SLOWLY SOUTHWARD TONIGHT WITH WIDESPREAD PRECIPITATION EXPECTED TO CONTINUE ALONG AND NORTH OF THE FRONT. SOME LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN WILL BE POSSIBLE OVER WESTERN NORTH TEXAS AND SOUTHWEST OKLAHOMA OVERNIGHT.
