NOW...A BAND OF LIGHT RAIN WILL CONTINUE TO IMPACT PARTS OF THE NORTHWEST TEXAS PANHANDLE AND THE WESTERN HALF OF THE OKLAHOMA PANHANDLE THIS EVENING. AREAS IMPACTED WILL BE ALONG AND WEST OF A LINE FROM ROMERO...TO DALHART...TO STRATFORD...AND TO EVA. RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL BE LIGHT...GENERALLY LESS THAN ONE QUARTER OF AN INCH PER HOUR THROUGH 8 PM. ADDITIONAL RAINFALL IS POSSIBLE AGAIN LATER THIS EVENING AS AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE APPROACHES THE AREA. A FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR THE TEXAS AND OKLAHOMA PANHANDLES THROUGH TUESDAY AFTERNOON. PERSONS TRAVELING ACROSS THE PANHANDLES SHOULD USE CAUTION AND BE ALERT FOR PONDING OF WATER ON ROADWAYS AND IN POOR DRAINAGE AREAS.
